Solo play stays on your device. Online play uses Apple Game Center and iCloud (CloudKit) so the lobby can show who is flying. That means your Game Center player ID, display name, selected hull, and match activity leave the device. ASTROSPIKE does not track you, sell data, or run its own servers.
This data is stored using Apple's on-device preferences (UserDefaults). It is not uploaded unless you play online, in which case the hull you selected is also written to the lobby record below.
When you are signed in to iCloud and Game Center, ASTROSPIKE publishes records in the CloudKit container iCloud.com.iankainoa.ASTROSPIKE so other pilots can find you:
Presence records go stale after a short window if you leave. ASTROSPIKE does not use this data for advertising or analytics. Apple operates CloudKit; see Apple's privacy policy.
Friend invites and matchmaking run through Apple's Game Center. Apple holds that account. During a live match, ship positions, ball state, and score are relayed between the devices in the match so the boards stay in sync. That relay is not a CloudKit store of the rally after the match ends; the lobby scoreline above is the host's summary.
Cosmetic hull purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. ASTROSPIKE never sees or stores your payment information. Unlock flags for hulls you already bought stay on the device.
ASTROSPIKE does not track you across apps or websites, does not use your data for targeted ads, and does not attach third-party analytics SDKs.
